I subscribed to the podcast about the Library of Congress in Washington D.C.
Last week I visited the building and it was just beautiful... so ornate. This was a good site to subscribe to because it lists special information for librarians and teachers as well as their upcoming events. I was surprised to learn that the Library of Congress is celebrating the "Joy of Reading" on September 26th in the National Mall. Some authors who will be present include John Grisham, Judy Blume, Paula Deen, and Walter Mosley. I may try to visit my daughter in D.C. this weekend. GREAT FIND!
